Chef John Memering has been in the kitchen for over 20 years and has opened numerous restaurants in the Portland, Oregon, area as well as trained in United States and across Europe. Most recently before coming to us, he was an instructor at Kapiolani Community College’s Culinary Arts Program.

Chef Jason Iwane was born and raised here in Kailua. He brings 20 years of kitchen experience to the table including 11 years at Jaron’s Kailua, as well as time at 3660 On The Rise and Zia’s Caffe Kaneohe.

The new Café and Deli is now open for breakfast, lunch and dinner! With our coffee bar and deli sandwiches, breakfast and lunch are very familiar, dinner however is what’s new. We’ve put together a fabulous small plate menu along with some great grab-and-go family meals and a wine list that features half bottles that are perfect for sharing just a couple of glasses out on the lanai.

We pride ourselves at Kalapawai Market on having freshly Hawaiian-Roasted coffees. We offer to you our full line of Kalapawai Coffees in half-pound, one-pound, and five-pound bags, as well as select other Hawaiian coffees from Lion Coffee. Just select your coffee, the size, and the quantity!

World-wide shipping is done through U.S. Priority Mail. All returns must be received within 30 days of the initial shipment for a full refund. Sorry, but gift certificates are not accepted for payment for phone-in and online orders.

Some of the featured new items will be the Salad of bay shrimp, Hau’ula Tomatoes, Kahuku corn & Big Island heart of palm, over crispy baby romaine lettuce with a soy-wasabi vinaigrette; Tagine of New Zealand free range lamb shank over saffron-scented couscous; grilled cider-brined pork chop served with calabacitas over poblano chili mash; & a bruschetta of artichoke tapanade & speck.
